Sri Brindavan Gramoday Sansthan

Sri Brindavan Gramoday Sansthan is a service-oriented charitable initiative founded with the vision of bringing quality primary healthcare to both rural and urban communities, rooted in ethical practice, evidence-based medicine, and a spirit of devotion towards society. At its heart, the Sansthan believes that healthcare is not merely the treatment of disease — it is the nurturing of families, communities, values, awareness, and human dignity. Through its growing network of Family Health Centres, the NGO works to make healthcare more accessible, humane, preventive, affordable, and relationship-based.

ABOUT THE NGO

Who We Are

Sri Brindavan Gramoday Sansthan was established in 2022 with the purpose of creating a community-based model of family healthcare that serves people not only in illness, but also in health, prevention, lifestyle, relationships, mental wellbeing, and wholesome living. Core conviction: A healthy society is built not only through hospitals and medicines, but through strong families, trusted doctors, preventive awareness, and value-based living.

Guiding Principles

Our Vision

To build a strong, compassionate, and community-rooted primary healthcare system where every individual and family has access to trusted, ethical, and comprehensive care — close to their home and close to their life realities. Family Health Centres become centres of health education, preventive care, lifestyle guidance, family counselling, mind-body-spirit awareness, and human connection.

Our Mission

Develop and strengthen family health-oriented centres that deliver quality primary medical care, continuity of care for families, preventive & promotive programmes, home-based care, ethical treatment, and health awareness in underserved communities. Create a replicable grassroots healthcare model where people learn to live healthier, wiser, and more meaningful lives.

Our Approach

Family-Centred

We care for the person in the context of their family, home, lifestyle, and relationships — not just as a diagnosis.

Community-Oriented

Centres stay connected with real health needs of local population — village, taluka, or city settings.

Ethical & Evidence-Based

Rational, scientifically sound practice, avoiding unnecessary interventions and promoting trustworthy care.

Preventive & Longitudinal

Goal is not only to treat disease but to prevent illness, detect problems early, and support long-term health.

Beyond Treatment: A Larger Purpose

Our Family Health Centres are envisioned not merely as outpatient clinics, but as living centres of learning and wellbeing. Over time, these centres aim to become places where individuals and families can receive guidance on:

Our Dakshina Model

A Contribution Model Rooted in Trust and Seva

Rather than viewing healthcare only through a transactional lens, we nurture a culture where those who feel benefited by the work may choose to support it through a voluntary contribution (Dakshina). Service is offered with sincerity, and support is received with humility. Why it matters: The Dakshina model helps us sustain and expand community-based primary care, family health services, rural outreach, home care initiatives, preventive health programmes, and health education activities. Important: Dakshina is entirely voluntary, not merely payment for service — it is participation in building ethical, humane, community-rooted healthcare.
