About Learn Family Med

An Initiative by Sri Brindavan Gramoday Sansthan

Shri Brindavan Gramoday Sansthan, founded in 2022, is actively engaged in delivering compassionate, ethical, and holistic primary healthcare through its three centers—at the village level in Jamboti, the taluka level in Khanapur, and the urban setting of Belgaum city, Karnataka. Under the guidance of Dr. Sparsh Agarwal and Dr. Vinod Mali, these centers function on strong family medicine and primary care principles, offering not only OPD services but also structured home-care programs for patients who need continuity and personal attention. Alongside patient care, paramedics and healthcare workers are trained in these clinics, strengthening community-based healthcare delivery. Every day, numerous patients benefit from timely diagnosis, ethical treatment, and compassionate follow-up. These are not merely clinics—they are holistic care centers, integrating physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of health, reaffirming the Sansthan’s commitment to healing individuals, families, and communities in the truest sense.

Dr. Sparsh Agarwal

MBBS, DNB Family Medicine (All India Gold Medalist)

When I look back at my own journey in medicine, I realise something important: The biggest struggle was not lack of knowledge — it was lack of confidence, clarity, and guidance in real clinical practice. Like many of you, I studied hard. I learnt diseases, drugs, and protocols. Yet when I faced real patients in OPD — with unclear symptoms, limited resources, emotional families, and ethical dilemmas — I felt unprepared. No textbook taught me:

Learn Family Med was born from this gap.

This platform is my sincere effort to pass on what medical college often doesn't teach: Clinical thinking rooted in primary care Confidence built through structured reasoning Communication that heals Ethics that guide decisions even under pressure I believe Family Medicine is the backbone of healthcare — not just as a specialty, but as a philosophy of care. A philosophy where the doctor knows the patient beyond reports, and the patient trusts the doctor beyond prescriptions. Learn Family Med is not about creating “fast prescribers.” It is about nurturing thoughtful, ethical, and compassionate clinicians. If you are a student feeling uncertain, a young doctor feeling overwhelmed, or a practitioner seeking meaning again — this space is for you.

We walk this journey together.
With sincerity,
